Heritage Components values your custom — every order you place is dispatched on time and packaged with the utmost care and attention. All prices listed include VAT for UK customers. 

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including American Express, Visa, Mastercard. PayPal and Apple Pay are also accepted.

Shipment processing times

All Orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping to the UK

  • Delivery time in the UK will vary based on your chosen delivery service. A range of delivery options will be provided, including Next Day UK delivery (excluding weekends and public holidays).

  • We offer free delivery on orders over £100 and above in the UK. 

Countries included in this offer are England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland.

  • Mainland UK dispatch is with a Carrier on a 24 or 48 hour service as appropriate (excluding weekends and public holidays). However, at busy times please allow 7-10 working days for your order to arrive. (A longer delivery period may be quoted for bespoke products or items not in stock).

  • For delivery of large quantities of bulk items, for example hair or fibre (upholstery goods), an additional charge may be made on placing your order. You will be contacted with a revised price based on your location if this is the case, and you will then have a choice of a refund or to proceed. This affects less than one percent of orders.

Returns are allowed subject to our standard terms and conditions.

Shipping to EU countries

As a UK business, we’ve faced several challenges since Brexit. However, we're now confident we can offer transparent shipping for our EU private and trade customers.

Purchasing as a private customer

All orders shipped to the EU are sold through the website with an additional fee added at checkout, for Import Taxes and Charges. This fee accounts for any VAT, import duties, import charges levied, or local taxes. 

We collect this, and pay in advance to prevent any delay of your order at local customs. All orders are shipped directly from the UK. As a result you will know the total price of your purchase before it has been shipped. No further charges will be incurred in your country of destination.

Collecting this additional fee in advance also results in a faster shipping time as additional admin is largely eliminated.

Purchasing as a trade customer

All orders shipped to the EU are sold through the website with an additional fee added at checkout, for Import Taxes and Charges. This fee accounts for any VAT, import duties, import charges levied, or local taxes. 

VAT-registered companies may prefer to contact us for a pro-forma invoice exclusive of VAT and deal with the import taxes and charges on arrival in-country. In this circumstance the courier will contact you directly to collect the relevant payment ahead of delivery.

Shipping Worldwide:

Delivery time to the rest of the world will vary based on your chosen delivery service. All delivery charges worldwide will be automatically calculated in your cart from the best available rates, based on your selected delivery option, the delivery location, and the order weight.

Shipping Costs

Most of our deliveries are with UPS. Shipping costs are calculated based on:
- Destination
- Weight and dimensions of the package
- Service level (e.g., standard, express)

The shipping cost will be displayed at checkout. Customs duties, taxes, and additional fees (if applicable) are not included in the shipping cost and are the recipient’s responsibility.

Delivery times

Estimated delivery times are:
- Europe: 3–5 business days
- United States: 5–10 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control, such as customs clearance, holidays, or unforeseen delays by the carrier.

Customs and duties

All shipments to the US and Europe may be subject to import taxes, duties, and charges.
These fees are determined by the customs office in the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient.

We recommend checking with your local customs authority for more information before placing an order.

Packaging

All items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. If your package arrives damaged, please notify us and UPS immediately.

Heritage Components is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation Email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). You can track your package using UPS’s tracking portal at https://www.ups.com/track?loc=en_GB&requester=ST/ .

Delivery issues

If delivery is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, additional charges may apply for reshipment.

For lost or delayed shipments, please contact us within 10 business days of the expected delivery date.
